Youth Ministry

If you are looking for a church with a heart for children then look no further. The Phillip Grove Youth Ministry is Jesus-centered and biblically-based. God has blessed us with one of the largest Youth Ministries in Burke County and we are happy to say it is still growing!! We believe this is because at Phillip Grove we are as serious about instilling a passion for God in the younger generation. We want to help children grow up in the Lord and partner with families as you train your children to know and love Christ. When your child becomes a part of our Youth Ministry, you and your family can expect:

• Substance with fun and friendship. We place great emphasis on the quality and content of teaching as we believe children need meat, not milk. We want children and youth to have a good understanding of the Bible and what it means to them and their lives. We also want to teach them what it means to be a faithful church member and challenge them to be active not only in this ministry but in other ministries and the church at large. We believe that this goal can be accomplished in a fun way, while helping children and youth make friends, and grow spiritually.
• Safety while your children are in our care. There is nothing more important to us than the safety of your child.
• Support in your efforts to train your children to know and love Jesus. The biblical priority for nurturing the faith of the younger generation happens within the context of the family. We work diligently to connect church with home and partner with parents in the effort of ministering to children and youth.

While these three aspects do not fully explain our ministry, they give you a brief idea of what we value. We have our meetings on the First Friday of every month and also have quarterly outings with our kids.
